Tim Branstetter is a passionate mentor, manager, and lifelong storyteller whose journey has been built on helping others find their voice and reach their full potential. At 50 years old, Tim’s path has taken him from the world of sports journalism to the heart of the music industry—guided every step of the way by his love for people, storytelling, and growth.
For more than 20 years, Tim worked as a sports writer and newspaper editor, covering the games and teams he grew up loving. A devoted fan of Kentucky athletics, he turned a lifelong passion into a platform by launching Wildcat Sports Talk, a podcast that grew to more than 20,000 followers. Through that platform, Tim earned media credentials with the University of Kentucky—an accomplishment that allowed him to cover games, interview players, and live out a dream he had carried since childhood.
But Tim’s true calling has always been coaching and mentorship.
For years, he coached youth and AAU basketball, including coaching his son from elementary school through high school. It was there that Tim developed his philosophy: every individual is different, but with the right guidance, belief, and mindset, a team—and a person—can grow beyond expectations. Helping young athletes build confidence, character, and purpose became one of the most rewarding experiences of his life.
After his son graduated, Tim found himself searching for that same sense of purpose—and he found it in music.
A songwriter himself during difficult seasons of life, Tim had long admired the power of music and those who create it. That passion turned into something bigger when he began working with a young duo he discovered at a local open mic. What started as simple guidance quickly became a transformation: the duo went from having no stage experience to performing over 60 shows in just eight months, ultimately winning a major talent competition at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame.
That moment changed everything.
Seeing the joy, confidence, and pride in those artists fueled a new mission. Word spread, more artists reached out, and Tim stepped fully into the role of manager and mentor. In 2025, he made the bold decision to leave his full-time job as a newspaper editor to pursue music management full-time—choosing passion and purpose over security.
Today, Tim leads with a hands-on, heart-first approach. He doesn’t just manage artists—he invests in them. He works to understand each individual’s strengths, challenges, and goals, helping them grow not only as performers, but as people. Whether it’s booking shows, building confidence, or simply being someone they can trust, Tim is committed to being his artists’ biggest supporter and guide.
Family remains at the center of everything he does. A devoted father to his two children, Taylor and Dawson, Tim is deeply connected to his parents as well. He credits his mother as his greatest inspiration—her kindness and compassion shaping the way he treats others—and treasures the time spent with his father, especially watching Kentucky basketball games together alongside his son, creating meaningful three-generation memories.
Grounded in faith, driven by purpose, and fueled by a genuine love for people, Tim Branstetter is building more than a management company—he’s building a community. With a growing roster of artists at all stages of their careers, and exciting new partnerships on the horizon, Tim continues to push forward with humility, determination, and belief.
His mission is simple: help others chase their dreams, reach their potential, and become the best version of themselves—on stage and in life.
