Guns For Hire

Guns For Hire is a four piece band formed in 2023. Tommy Oney (guitar and backing vocals) and Josh Maynard (Bass) have been playing music together off and on for 25+ years. Their first band was with Tommy's younger brother Matt Oney (drums) while in high school. Matt joined the band in September of 2023. Lead vocalist, Shawn Leslie, joined the band after reaching out in response to their facebook post looking for a singer. Soon after, the band was formed and started developing its signature sound of rock mixed with some country and blues elements.

Guns For Hire released their debut album "Throw It To The Wall...See If It Sticks" independently in December 2023, and it was well received. Two singles from the album were featured on the radio. 2024 saw them breaking into new markets, playing several festivals, and opening for national acts such as Hinder, Buckcherry, Huntergirl, Lorrie Morgan, Jason Michael Carroll and more.

Guns For Hire is currently writing new music for what will become their second album. Their catchy and singable songs as well as their live performances have made them a favorite act in their area.
